I’ve said it before, and I get the chance to say it again, the gorgeous CHIANG MAI DRAGON 100% linen fabric is going to be remembered in history globally as one of the most popular fabrics ever produced by American fabric & wallpaper designers Schumacher. This week Fabric Studio has spied the cover of Australian House & Garden magazine, May ’13 edition, featuring this iconic fabric in colour Aquamarine as covering of two classic shaped armchairs. There are 5 different colourways of Chiang Mai Dragon, but this one is soft yet punchy with the zing of the very ‘now’ tangerine accent colour. The background is breathtaking and I can’t imagine a room scheme that wouldn’t be brightened up by this fabric (even just a couple of cushions). And there’s a little green cushion on one of the chairs in the famous Kelly Wearstler for Schumacher fabric, EMERALD CUT/Lotus Ivory too. As frequent readers of Fabric Studio WHATS HOT will know, I have long had a bit of a thing for Blue-n-White ‘anything’. Well I would love to introduce you to the newest member of my collection – meet my gorgeous new chair just installed at our new apartment. It is so beautiful and even on the dullest day, brings the room to life. The ‘ENCHANTED’ Collection by Warwick Fabrics, includes a beautiful large-scale floral (Enchanted), a medium-scale stripe (Tempt) and a geometric diamond design embroidered sheer (Invite). The colour selection is subtle and elegant.

I am personally loving the ‘Invite’ sheer at present, and so are our customers. Extremely well priced at $61/m for such elegance!

BULLET is an outdoor fabric by Unique Fabrics, that has a soft velvety pile but also boasts impressive technical qualities: A light fastness of 7 and a terrific 100,000 Martindale rub rate. It also sports teflon protection, excellent mould/mildew resistance and low flammability. Bullet proof – you bet!

There are 20 different colourways – from earthy neutrals, cool duck egg blue, greens and greys, to vibrant pink, lime, orange and red. Oh and of course a selection of blacks, charcoals & whites.
